“Giotto Image Stereo” is the only “dedicated mammography and stereo” system combined.  The only system that gives you the control and the choice of what you want to do: Stereo or Mammography.  There is no costly dedicated room sitting unused waiting for a stereo procedure.  With “Giotto Image Stereo” you can be doing mammography with the same equipment in the same room, until you need it for stereo.  In minutes it converts to a fully capable Prone Stereo System or Upright Stereo System saving many thousands of dollars annually and providing capability of doing “every” patient with your “Giotto Image Stereo”.

Patient with suspicious lesion are commonly referred for Prone Stereo Biopsy.  It is less invasive than surgical biopsy and can be done in a clinic setting.  Currently, those facilities, that offer prone procedures, must have a costly dedicated room where their stereo equipments sits unusable until there is a stereo procedure needed. 

This is not the case with “Giotto Image Stereo”. Because it is a full mammography system and well as a stereo system, it can be used all the time.  Because of the dual capability of prone and upright stereo it saves the cost of adding a separate upright system.
